Services - Appointed Safety Advisor Service Legislation states that every employer must enlist one or more competent persons to assist them in complying with their statutory duties under health and safety law. This can be provided by either an employee or an external organisation. We can act as your competent person or as back up to provide additional support to your own in house staff. Typical services would include an agreed amount of onsite support, e-mail and telephone support as required, regular updates on new or changed legislation / guidance and priority for additional services. We can also help to train and mentor your own in house staff whilst they gain knowledge and experience.
